Banana
Breakfast Shake
The kids will love this!
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 medium banana, peeled and sliced
1-1/2 cups fat-free skim or 1 percent low-fat milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 tsp. almond extract (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
- Wrap sliced banana in plastic wrap or place in a freezer storage
bag. Freeze for several hours or overnight.
- In a blender container, combine all the ingredients, except
cinnamon.
- Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
- Pour into glasses, and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon,
if desired.
