Broiled Fish
with Tomato-Horseradish Topping
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. fat-free sour cream
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. drained horseradish
4 fish fillets (5 oz. each)
4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup plain dried breadcrumbs
Preparation
- Preheat the broiler. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream,
ketchup, mayonnaise, and horseradish.
- Place the fish on a broiler pan. Drizzle the fillets with the
lemon juice and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Broil 4 to
6 inches from the heat for 5 minutes.
- Spread the horseradish mixture over the fish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs
over the top. Broil the fish for 2 minutes, or until the topping
is lightly browned and the fish just flakes when tested with a
fork.
