Tomato-Basil
Bisque
Serves 4
Ingredients
3 cups tomatoes, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 cup vegetable broth or chicken broth
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. fresh basil, snipped or 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
Preparation
- In a blender container, combine tomatoes, vegetable or chicken
broth, and tomato sauce.
- Cover and blend until smooth. Stir in basil. Cover and refrigerate
until ready to serve.
