Spicy Broccoli with Tomatoes
This vegetable never had it so good!

Ingredients
1 tsp. olive oil
1 lb. broccoli florets
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. chili pepper flakes, crushed
1/2 cup recipe-ready crushed tomatoes

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Sauté broccoli, garlic and chili pepper flakes for 20 seconds.
  • Add tomatoes. Cover saucepan and reduce heat to medium.
  • Simmer for 7 to 8 minutes or until broccoli is bright green and tender and tomato sauce has thickened. (Add a little water if necessary.)
