Tarragon
Asparagus
Just a touch of sweetness.
Ingredients
1-1/2 lbs. asparagus spears, ends trimmed
1 tbsp. cholesterol-free margarine
1-1/2 tbsp. scallions, chopped
1-1/2 tsp. fresh tarragon, snipped
1 tbsp. fresh parsley
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
- Place asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water.
- Cover pan and steam for 5 minutes or until tender. Do not overcook.
Drain immediately.
- Melt margarine in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add remaining
ingredients.
- Spoon over asparagus and serve.
