Refried Beans (Frijoles Refritos Sin Freir)
Serves 6
Ingredients
3 cups cooked, low-fat pinto beans
Nonfat cooking spray
Preparation
- In a large nonstick skillet, slowly cook beans.
- Use a potato masher to mash beans to desired consistency.
- Heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until most excess liquid has evaporated,
taking care not to allow beans to become too dry.
